Happy Monday Everyone!
So I was just finishing typing up my group email for the week when my computer crashed.. Yeah. Tell me about it. It's definitely was the pits. Missionary problems for sure. Haha. Anyways, for the sake of time, I thought it would be kind of fun to share funny experiences that have happened this past week to add to the awkward fact that my computer crashed..
- We went to our first Mexican "Rosca" this past week. We're not really sure what was going on other than the fact that there was a huge fiesta and people were all taking turns cutting the Rosca (a sweet traditional bread) and that there were little plastic babies inside. All of the missionaries were so confused and we laughed for hours afterwards. I even was lucky enough to be one of the lucky ones to find a little plastic baby in my bread! So funny!
- EL NINO FINALLY CAME. It was absolutely crazy. The rain and wind were unreal. We were completely soaked on so many levels. It got so bad that we got a text from our Mission Presidency that we had to get to our nearest church building as soon as possible and to remain their until we heard further news. Thankfully we only had to stay in the church for a hour which was the perfect amount of time to dry a little bit before we were thrown back into the wet.. I definitely was wishing that I had a little more than my light jacket to combat the rain. Hermana Carmack and I had a blast.
You're all amazing.
Have a great week!
